South Asia March 2024

As our plane descended over the majestic peaks of the Himalayas, I couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement and anticipation for the journey ahead.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Tabernacle Ministries, our gracious hosts for the duration of our stay. Over the next 2.5 days, we immersed ourselves in teaching and fellowship, guided by the principles outlined in 1 Timothy. Each session was a testament to the power of Scripture to transform lives, as we delved deep into its timeless wisdom and practical applications.

One of the highlights of our time in Lahan was our interactive workshop on "Leading Like Jesus" with the elders and deacons of Tabernacle Ministries. Together, we explored the servant leadership model exemplified by Jesus Christ, discussing its relevance in today's world and brainstorming ways to implement it within the church community.

We had the opportunity to visit the Tabernacle Ministries School and Agricultural Center in Biratnagar.

Our time in Lahan culminated in a joyous corporate worship service, where members of Tabernacle Ministries joined hands with our team in praising God for His goodness and faithfulness. It was a beautiful expression of unity in diversity, as we worshipped together in different languages and cultural traditions, yet bound together by our shared faith in Christ.
In the midst of poverty and hardship, we had witnessed the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of God's love.
